Code Enforcement

Chattooga County Code Enforcement

The office of Code Enforcement is in place to help citizens, new and old, answer questions they may have about the rules set forth by the ordinances of Chattooga County and enforce the penalties on those who refuse to comply with the regulations of those ordinances. It is maintained by BJ. Hall, and he is ready to help as best he can anyone who calls. BJ. is the director of the Land Development Commission of Chattooga County. He also holds a Red Card from the GSWCC and helps maintain the county local LIA (License Issuing Authority) with the State of GA so that the office can also issue Land Disturbance Permits (LDPs) for those tilling up the earth for the purposes of construction of an acre or more or within 100ft of a Perennial or Trout Stream. Anyone who believes their project may concern any aspect of the ordinances of Chattooga County is encouraged to call.
