Chattooga County Multi-Purpose Center

The Chattooga County Multi-Purpose Center is operated by the Commissioner’s Office. The center, located on Senior Drive in Summerville, provides a home for various county services. The center is home to the Chattooga County Food Pantry, the North Georgia Community Action Headquarters, and the Adult Education/GED program.

The Food Pantry is operated to help families that are in need of food. The pantry depends on charitable donations in order to provide this service to the community. Each year, countless advocacy groups, student organizations, and other groups join together to provide for the center.

The North Georgia Community Action Headquarters helps various community support services and advocacy groups to collaborate. These groups are able to focus on a variety of issues facing Chattooga County.
